Have A Blooming Good Day

Hello Friends (:

Time really flies and we are already into the end of July of 2019!

Have you already shop at Purple Onion Designs for your favourite stamps?  If you have not done so, you still have time as the sales will end today!  Be sure to check out the cart of yours!  And today, I have a new card to share!

I initially wanted the card to have more of a subtle colours but I went overboard with the blending of the distress inks on the background of the card.  With the bright yellow sunflowers, I guess the card turned out quite alright!

All the images are stamped with my favourite Memento Ink in black tuxedo and digitally cut out using my Silhouette Cameo.  To add a little more fun details, I used a embossing folder for the frame to create the little polka dots and also added some sequins to the card.

To make Tucker the main attraction of the card, I put a piece of foam tape and adhere the cute little snail right in the middle of all the bright cheery sunflowers.

I hope you like what I've shared today.  All the cute images and sentiment used on this card can be found on Purple Onion Designs.  Please remember to check out the sale if you have not done so.  You still have time!

That's all for today and I hope to see you back here real soon!

A brand new look, a new card and some good news!

Hello Friends (:

You might have realized that I have a new theme for my blog!  I hope you like the new theme.

The last time when I logged in to my blog I realized the Photobucket logo was all over my page.  Being technically challenged I didn't know what just happened but I did know how to google and look for answers.  The google results didn't yield much information but I gather it must be due to some image hosting rights and stuff and so I had to do something about it.

So, to cut the story short.  I decided to change the theme of my blog as it seems to be the easy way out.  After searching the web for some free themes, nothing really caught my fancy.  And then I venture into Etsy and found some affordable themes and so I picked this one that's colourful and feminine!  Colourful to suit the title of my blog ~ Me and my colours.

And to celebrate the new look, I'm sharing a piece of good news and a new card!

Yes!  The anniversary sale of Purple Onion Design is here again!  To celebrate their 16th anniversary (wow! 16 years!), all stamps will be 25% off!  No discount code is needed as discounted prices will be reflected in the shopping cart.

And I here is the card that I'll be sharing today!

I blended distress ink in tumbled glass and peacock feathers for the ombré effect of blue sky and instead of green grass I used distress oxide squeezed lemonade and spiced marmalade to have a yellowish gold grass patch.

All the images are coloured with Copic markers and images are cut out using Silhouette Cameo electronic cutting machine.

I hope you like and here's wishing you a day full of joy!
