Box Full of Cupcake Fun

It's been, again, quite awhile since my last post!  I've been really busy working on Christmas cards which I'll share in another post sometime mid of this week, so please check back if you like to look at the Christmas cards that I've created with some fabulous stamps!

Today's post is a special one.  Today you will see how a set of clear stamps can give you 3 different types of cards creation, in the same day, at the same time!  Now isn't there cool?!

First of all, I want to thank Ren from InkAPaper and Yenni from YenniPaperLove for initiating this card making collaboration and inviting me to join in the fun!  It's my first time taking part in something like this and I'm really looking forward to see the beautiful creations of both Ren and Yenni!

The three of us had a short discussion on the choices of stamps and it happened that we all have the Cupcake Carnival from Mama Elephant and therefore our choice was made!  There was no surprise for choosing this stamp set as I find that this is the cutest and it's also the set of Mama Elephant stamps, among the rest, that I have used the most number of times!

Before I go on further, please let me share with you my creation with Cupcake Carnivals.

That's right.  I made a birthday themed card-in-a-box (:  I have previously made a shaker card with this set of stamps and I'm really happy how it turned out.  This stamp set is just way too cute and I can't help but want to put almost every image in a card.

I coloured the stamped images with my Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating die sets for Cupcake Carnival.  The box was cut out using my Silhouette Cameo and the cute colourful banner was from Lawn Fawn's Blue Skies.

A card would not be complete without some sentiments and I have spent quite a bit of time searching through my stamp collections hoping to find something really nice to go along with the card.  Make A Wish is just perfect!

Here is a YouTube video from my Chic'n Scratch.com on how to make a card-in-a-box if you do not have a Silhouette Cameo.  It's not as easy as letting the Cameo doing all the cutting but it's still achievable as long as you have a scoring board and a paper trimmer.

I hope you like what I've shared today. I'm sure you would want to see the other 2 versions of the cards with using the same set of stamps so please hop over to Ren and Yenni's blog to see their creations using the same stamp set.  I myself have yet to see their cards (we are not supposed to show our cards to anyone till all 3 of us is ready! Haha!) but I know it's just going to be awesome!

Wishing everyone a great week ahead.  Stay cool and craft on (:
